What to expect
No surprises. Here's how an order works with us, from the first question to the day your shirts are ready, so you know what we need from you and what you'll get back.
- Send your request. Garments, rough quantities, your date and your artwork.
- Get your quote. Usually within one business day, with your artwork proof on it.
- Approve, pay, approve art. Your date is confirmed once all three are done.
- We print. Standard turnaround is 14 calendar days from the last of those three.
- Pickup or shipping. We email you when yours is ready.
How a quote comes together
Tell us the garments, rough quantities, the print locations, your date and your artwork, even if it's only a sketch or a logo file. Alison or someone in the office puts your quote together and emails it, usually within one business day. You can open it in your customer portal, see exactly what's included along with your artwork proof, and approve it there when it looks right.
Your in-hands date
Your date is confirmed once three things are done: your quote is approved, your invoice is paid and your final art is approved. Standard turnaround is 14 calendar days from the last of those three. We often start sooner, and if you need your order sooner than standard, your quote shows the rush price for your date next to the standard price.
Proofs and art
Your artwork proof is right on your quote, so you see what we'll print before you approve anything. The proof you approve is what we print, so check the spelling, dates, sizes, colors, placement and quantities. Changes to our proof before you approve it are included: decline the quote with a note and we'll send a revised one. If your artwork needs to be created or rebuilt, that's quoted as art time.
What moves the price
Five things do most of it: how many pieces you order (bigger runs cost less per piece), how many ink colors are in the design, which garment you choose, how many places we print, and any specialty inks like metallic or glitter. If your budget is set, tell us and we'll suggest where to adjust.
Pickup and shipping
Orders are ready for pickup at our San Marcos shop during shop hours, Mon–Thu 8am–4pm and Fri 8am–2pm, and we email you when yours is ready. If you'd rather have it shipped, tell us when you ask for your quote.
Payment
Pay your invoice online by card, or by bank transfer on larger invoices. Full payment is due before your order goes on press, unless you have approved payment terms on file with us.
